Obituary of Carol Louise Langton

Carol Louise Langton was born on May 25, 1946 in Monroe, Michigan.   She was the loving daughter of Elton Kull and Marion (Hoppert) Kull.   Carol graduated from Monroe Jefferson High School with the Class of 1964.  

On September 5, 1964, Carol married the love of her life James Langton at the Zion Lutheran Church in Monroe.   From this union the couple would be blessed with two children:  a daughter, Kandice and a son: Jason.  Carol and James loved to travel. Their destinations would include Florida, Hawaii, California, Las Vegas, Seoul, Korea and even visiting the Mall of America in Minnesota, their trips were endless.   Her most favorite destination was that of Hawaii, visiting the Aloha State on twenty different occasions.   Carol also enjoyed spending time at their home in Estero, Florida.

Carol enjoyed reading about a multitude of different subjects.   She loved riding her golf cart down by Stony Creek with her grandchildren and bike riding. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren.   For more than thirty-three years she was employed as the head cashier at Food Town in Monroe.

Carol Louise Langton, age 75, of Monroe passed away on Friday; November 12, 2021 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.   Her passing was preceded by her parents; Elton and Marion Kull and her two sisters:  Joyce Mullen and Annamarie Russow.

To cherish her memory she leaves her loving husband of fifty-seven years:  James “Jim” Langton of Monroe; her daughter:  Kandice (David) Torosian of Grosse Ile; her son:  Jason (Heather) Langton of Monroe; two brothers:  Lyle (Maxine) Kull of Monroe and Albert Kull of Newport; and four grandchildren:  Hunter Langton, Harper Langton, Halena Torosian, and David Torosian; great-grandchild Lilly May Langton.

Cremation has taken place through Covenant Cremation of Erie, Michigan with her care entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan 48162 (734) 384-5185.   Private Family services will be held at a later date with a public service being planned for May of 2022.
