Obituary of Francis Marion Brown III

Please share a memory of Francis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Francis Marion Brown III was born in Monroe, Michigan on July 30, 1984.   He was the only child born from the union of Francis Marion Brown II and Patricia June (Dyke) Brown.   Frank attended Monroe High School graduating with the Class of 2002.   He would later attend Monroe County Community College receiving certification in nuclear education.

Frank married the love of his life, Mary Louise Glynn on June 16, 2007.   They built a beautiful life together raising their two sons.   Frank loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle but happily traded it in to purchase a boat and make more memories with family.   He enjoyed boating, camping, and vacationing.

Family was the heart of everything he did.   For the past six years, Frank, provided for his family with employment at the Enrico Fermi Power Plant as a Technician.

In 2013, Frank, joined the Monroe Township Fire Department.   He loved the opportunity to serve his community and relished in the role of being an educator.   Following his completion of the Monroe County Fire Academy, Frank, became a Training Firefighter for his own department and often returned to the academy to share his knowledge as an instructor.   In 2019, he was promoted to Sergeant and then achieved the status of Lieutenant in 2020.   In 2021, Frank completed his Emergency Medical Technician training and obtained his State of Michigan license.   For many years Frank was active as an Advisor for the fire department Fire Explorer/Cadet Program.

Wherever, Frankie went he was sure to leave a positive, memorable presence.   He always pushed others to be the best they could be, and in turn was well-respected in many circles.  Frank loved deeply and genuinely, when a person made friends with Frank they were a friend for life.   Frank was the consummate party host.   He always made sure that guests had enough to eat and drink and there would surely be an epic firework show to top it all off.
