Obituary of Cheryl Ann Lymond

Please share a memory of Cheryl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Cheryl Ann Moore was born on August 17, 1956, in Monroe, Michigan. She was one of seven children born from the union of the late Carl Moore and the late Betty (Russeau) Moore. Cheryl attended Monroe High School and would graduate with the class of 1983.

Later in life, Cheryl would meet and marry Byron Lymond and the couple would remain married, until his untimely passing in December of 2020.

Cheryl found value in peace and quiet, and she often filled her solitude by reading a good book.   She had many varied interests but especially enjoyed delving into a Harlequin romance novel and dancing with all her might to her favorite tunes.   Among Cheryl’s talents was her ability to knit and crochet.  Many of her family and close friends were fortunate enough to have received a hand-made item from her.

Cheryl adored spending time with her two canines: a dog named Jack and a puppy named Chi-Chi. The duo kept Cheryl busy when she was not flipping the pages of her latest read. Cheryl was a fantastic caregiver to those who needed her the most especially to her parents before their passing. She, unselfishly and without hesitation would assist her friends by driving them to various doctor appointments, or to the grocery store, when they were not able to do so for themselves.

Cheryl Ann Lymond, age 64, of Monroe, passed away at home unexpectedly at 6:05pm on Saturday; June 26, 2021.   In addition to her parents her passing was preceded by her husband:  Byron Lymond; two brothers:  Carl Moore, Jr and Gary Moore.; one nephew: Eric; and one niece: Judy West.

To cherish her memory, she leaves three sisters:  Frances Berry, Donna Standifer, and Connie Lozano; a brother:  Charles Moore; aunts:  Dianna Russeau and Janice Calhon; many loved nieces and nephews; and her four-legged canine companions:  Jack and Chi-Chi
