Mason Lee Hammac was born on January 1, 1996 in Monroe.  Mason was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church where he continued to worship on occasion throughout his life.   He attended Jefferson High School.

Mason was well-known for his kind and generous heart.   Above anything, family was of the utmost importance to him.   He cherished spending time with his two brothers, whether watching cartoons, like Beavis and Butthead with his younger brother, Finn, or chilling with his other brother, Austin, he relished these opportunities.   He especially enjoyed family vacations.   Mason also had a passion for animals of all kinds.

Mason was notorious for his infectious smile, warm hugs, and loving nature. These qualities enabled him to maintain long lasting friendships with people he encountered throughout his life, including his co-workers and his amazing boss, Joe.   For the past six years he had been a Service Attendant at the Marathon Service Station in Newport.

When Mason found the need to take a break from reality, he could often be found enjoying video games with Call of Duty being his favorite.   As an avid music listener, he loved to jam to Rock and Heavy Metal.
