Obituary of Linda Grabowski
Linda Larabell was born on March 27, 1962 in Trenton, Michigan. She was one of seven children born from the union of Frederick C. and Gloria (Corzine) Larabell. Linda would attend and graduate from High School in Southgate, Michigan. She would later in life, continue her studies in Criminal Justice, obtaining an Associate Degree from the University of Phoenix while proudly earning a 3.95 overall grade point average!
Linda would meet and fall in love with Andrew Grabowski. The couple would be joined in holy matrimony on April 12, 1980 at the former Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Wyandotte, Michigan. Linda and Andrew would be blessed with the birth of three children. Linda relished in her role as a homemaker. She enjoyed more than anything else, doting on her family. She often would drop whatever she was doing to assist her children. Linda even admitted that she would happily endure the painful teenage years all over again. Her hard work was well rewarded in the fact that her children each were shaped into wonderful, young adults with successful jobs and loving families of their own.
Linda and Andrew made a great team and duo was the best of friends, sharing a great life together. They paired up on numerous projects working hard together, and always having fun while doing it. One of their greatest joint accomplishments was remodeling and renovating their Eaton Rapids home.
Linda Grabowski, age 58, of Monroe, passed away at 11:40pm on Friday; February 19, 2021 after a difficult three year battle with cancer. Her passing was preceded by both of her parents and two brothers.
To cherish her memory, Linda, leaves her beloved husband of forty-one years: Andrew; three children: Andrew (Kamma) Grabowski, Blake Grabowski, and Amanda Grabowski; five siblings: Laurie, Teda, Sharon, Melody, and Fred; and five grandchildren: Luke, Piper, Zoey, Gracie, and Aldwin Carlisle.
Friends may gather on Saturday February 27, 2021 from 11:00am until 4:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan 48162 (734) 384-5185. A Worship Service Celebrating Her Life will take place at Noon with Deacon Zaid Chabaan officiating.
