Obituary of Crystal Renee Cox

Please share a memory of Crystal to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Crystal Renee Cox was born on August 16, 1974 in Monroe, Michigan. She would attend and graduate from Airport High School in 1992. After graduation, Crystal would find herself gainfully employed with the Kmart Corporation until they closed their doors in 2017.

Crystal loved being on her cell phone, which she mostly used to watch Paparazzi jewelry parties since she became bed ridden. When she was not glued to her cell phone, she enjoyed crafting.  She would create and paint many beautiful pieces that she would gift to friends and family members who were lucky enough to receive one.

She appreciated helping those who were less fortunate than she. Crystal would collect clothing from several donors and deliver said items to the homeless.

In her healthy years, before she fell ill, Crystal relished shopping, mostly frequenting Kmart. When Kmart closed, she settled for spending her money at Walmart and Hobby Lobby. Crystal continued to shop at Hobby Lobby online when she was ill, just so she could satisfy her crave for crafting.

Traveling to Gatlinburg was a must for Crystal. She would never miss an opportunity to visit the south and she continued to do so until her health would no longer allow.

Crystal cherished all animals, but she had a special connection to dogs.
