Larry Willis was born on February 5th, 1954 in Crawfordville, Arkansas.   He was one of four children born from the union of the late Frank Willis and Ernestine (Neal) Willis.   He attended Wanda Elementary School, but at the age of 9, Larry and his family moved from Arkansas to Monroe, Michigan.   He would graduate from Monroe High School later earning his college degree.

For some time, Larry would be employed as a laborer for Jeep Automotive.   He would be blessed with four children of his own.

Larry loved being outside.   In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and was all that he ever talked about.   Lake Erie was one of his favorite destinations to cast a line.   Larry also enjoyed going for walks, visiting the park, and riding his bicycle.   He loved his four-legged companions and his favorite partner in crime was his pup, Bronson.   Larry was also an avid sports fan.   He was a die-hard fan of his Detroit teams.

Larry Willis, age 66, passed away on Friday, March 20th, 2020 at the Medilodge of Monroe.   In addition to his parents his passing was preceded by a brother, Frank Willis.
