Betty Jean Maddox was born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 16, 1942.   She was one of four children born from the union of the late Fred Maddox and the late Pearlie (Burns) Maddox.

She married the love of her life, the late Earnest Paschall on November 9, 1956 in Franklin, Kentucky.  Shortly after, the couple would move to Michigan to make their home and start a family.  Betty and Earnest were blessed with the birth of two children:  Jerry and Patrice and she would care for the needs of her husband and children as a homemaker.

Betty was loving and kind.   She adored her family and cherished the time that she spent with them.   For many years, Betty, was proud to serve as a caregiver to her grandchildren while there mother worked.  She could be quite persistent and whenever her guests would prepare to leave, Betty inquired upon when they would visit again.   Although, Betty kept quite busy she could get bored from time to time.   It was at these moments she made special trips to her favorite restaurant, Olive Garden to grab a bite to eat or to shop at Wal-Mart, just to get out of the home.   Betty’s faith was extremely important to her and she remained very active in her church for most of her life.   Earnest her beloved husband of sixty-three years passed away on February 17, 2019.   From the time of Earnest’s passing, Betty wanted nothing more than to be at his side again.
