Obituary of David Allen Richner

David Allen Richner was born on February 14, 1962 in Bad Axe, Michigan. He was born from the union of his parents: Walter John Richner and Evelyn Ellona (Clark). David received his education by attending and graduating with his class from Oscoda High School. He decided to further his education to pursue a career as a chef and attended culinary school.

David married the love of his life, Annette Marie Colby on August 6, 2003 in Tawas City. Together they raised three children. He worked hard to support his growing family by working as a proud chef at the Holiday Inn since the age of eighteen. He was known for his kind demeanor, great personality and his amazing soups, including clam chowder and French onion. David was a caring neighbor, mowing lawns for many of the senior citizens in his area.  He retired medically in 2004.

A natural handy-man, Dave could fix just about anything. He enjoyed watching football and baseball, never missing a Detroit Tiger’s game. He had a great sense of humor that will be truly missed.
