Annette J. Burt Annette J. Burt, 49, of Monroe, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2007, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Merkle Funeral Service, Inc. Services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday morning with The Rev. Stanley Aubuchon of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. She was born July 4, 1958, in Monroe, to Norman and Eleanor (Drummonds) Miller. She married Jim Burt on April 4, 1992 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Monroe. A 1976 graduate of Monroe High School, Mrs. Burt had been an employee of Hassett Title Company as an abstractor since 1988. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was an active member of the Relay for Life and an avid Red Wings fan. Surviving are her husband, a son, Paul C. Burt of Monroe, and 3 sisters, Norma (Norman) Beamer, Julie (Richard) Anson, and April Kipf of Monroe, and her parents. Memorials may be made to Relay for Life and Henry Ford Cancer Center.
