Obituary of Dawn Marie Corwin
Dawn Marie Corwin was born in Eloise, Michigan on April 24, 1977. She was the daughter of Ronald Albert Corwin and Lois Colleen (Stead) Corwin. She started her high school education at Wayne Memorial High School, but later transferred to Belleville High School where she graduated. Dawn attended college on a volleyball scholarship at Henry Ford Community College.
From an early age, Dawn exhibited an intrinsic drive setting her apart from her peers. She sometimes was misunderstood as pushy or controlling, but in fact she was determined to shape her own destiny, a trait serving her well in her future endeavors. Her strong will might even sometimes be interpreted as stubbornness, but those who truly knew her understood it stemmed from a deep-seated passion and commitment to make the best of life. She not only expected the best of herself but also those around her.
Her professional life was marked by record-breaking achievements as she successfully managed properties, most recently Singh Management Property, for over twenty years. Outside of her professional life, Dawn’s heart belonged to her family. She was wild and crazy about her kids and grandkids, a fact evident in the actions she took and her strong desire to make memories with the people she loved. Dawn enjoyed all things Detroit Sports, fishing, camping, attending Jeep runs, family BBQs, and movie nights. Her greatest joy was coloring and cooking as G-ma with her grandson’s, recently becoming an Oma to her first granddaughter and in anticipation of a second granddaughter!
Dawn's personal life wasn't devoid of struggles. She faced various challenges, from balancing her career with her family life to personal losses and health battles. Yet, she faced each trial with the same tenacity that defined her professional career, emerging stronger and more determined each time. She did not like the sound of no and would not accept no for an answer. She was a fighter. She fought bravely. Now her days are filled with love and light.
