Obituary of Christopher Daniel Redigan

Please share a memory of Christopher to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Christopher Daniel Redigan was born on December 27, 1989, in Dearborn, Michigan. He was the son of Daniel Warrick and Lourie Ann Redigan.  Christopher was raised by his great grandparents, Hunter and Juanita Hinson. He attended Dundee High School and the Dundee Alternative School.  He later attended Orchard Central High School in Monroe, Michigan where he obtained his GED.

For the past eight years, Christopher was employed at Bay Corrugated Container in Monroe, Michigan.

Chris spent 14 happy years with the love of his life, best friend and soulmate, the former Kristen Michelle Hill. They were married at the Monroe County Courthouse on December 18, 2015. Chris loved spending time with his wife Krysty, whether it was taking walks along the River Raisin watching the ducks, feeding a duck he named “Quacky”, or staying home cuddled up watching the Outer Limits or any goreless horror movie. He loved to fish for anything that was biting, enjoyed grilling with ribs being his specialty, liked spending time target practicing and he loved gardening to make the landscape look beautiful. Christopher cared deeply for animals, adoring his cat Murphy who he called his “son” and taking his father-in-laws dog: Bo, the English Mastiff for walks.  He would often go antiquing or “junking” looking for old and lost treasures in hope of finding coins that he enjoyed collecting.  Christopher was very creative and always loved to learn. He was fond of working on his car, creating things from nothing and building and tinkering with guns, or simply just helping people. He was extremely kind and wasn’t one to tell someone in need “no”. Chris’s cherished memories include traveling the country with his great grandfather, the Great Hunter Hinson.
