Tyler Cameron Joyner was born on March 28, 2002 in Dearborn, Michigan. He was the loving son of Martin Theron and Charlotte Ann (Standifer) Joyner. Tyler was a 2020 graduate of Monroe High School in Monroe, Michigan. The past 9 months Tyler was employed by Enersol Insulation Contractor in Maumee, Ohio.
Tyler enjoyed being outdoors and loved to hunt deer and small game. He recently had gone pheasant and deer hunting with his father, and Tyler shot a nice spike. He liked playing video games with Modern Warfare and Destiny 2 being two of his favorites. Tyler loved his three dogs: Miller a Yorkie; Max a black lab, and Waldo a great pyrenes. Spending time with his brother Kalen was also on the top of his list.
Tyler Cameron Joyner, age 19, of Monroe passed away unexpectedly on Friday; November 5, 2021 in Hillsdale County from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. His passing was preceded by his grandparents: Daisy Standifer, Nelly Jack Connor, Junior Standifer, and Jesse T. Joyner and his great-grandmother: Edith Rucker.
To cherish his memory he leaves his parents: Martin T. and Charlotte A. Joyner; his sister: Kelsey Nussbaum (Darius Carter) of Monroe; his four brothers: Kalen Joyner, of Monroe, Jeremy (Susie) Joyner of Maumee, Ohio, Jack (Sara) Nussbaum of Toledo, Ohio, and Eric (Raquel) Nussbaum of Monroe; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may gather on Thursday; November 11, 2021 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, South Monroe; 14567 South Dixie Highway, Monroe, Michigan 48161 (734) 241-7070. A Celebration of His Life will follow at 6:00pm with Pastor Roy Southerland officiating.
