Obituary of Austin Kaleb Noe

Austin Kaleb Noe was born on February 12, 2000 in Harlan, Kentucky.   He was the son of William Walker and Angela “Kameron” (Noe) Bartel.   He attended South Laurel Middle School in Kentucky and Airport High School in Carleton.  

Austin was a hard worker and he had been working for some time as a roofer.   When he wasn’t working he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.   He loved to play the Play Station 3 (PS3).   Austin had a love for music, and as a talented rapper he often impressed those around him with his ability to freestyle.  

Austin had a wonderful, inviting personality sharing a hug with those around him.  When in school his teachers often commented to his mother about his loving presence.   He had a great sense of humor, loved to make others laugh, and was often referred to as the Class Clown.   Austin was extremely, outgoing, and with his ability to strike up a conversation with anyone he never met a stranger.  

Austin Kaleb Noe, age 17 of Newport, passed away from injuries sustained in a traffic accident on Sunday, October 15, 2017.   His passing was preceded by his step-father: Jason Bartel; his maternal grandmother: Joanne Roberts; and his paternal grandmother: Lana Bailey.

To cherish his memory, he leaves his mother:  Angela “Kameron” Bartel of Newport and her significant other:  Jeff Watkins; Adam Rascon: his father figure whom helped to raise him; his father:  William (Casey) Walker; maternal grandfather:  Jerry Noe (Donna Jones) of Putney, Kentucky; maternal step grandparents:  Roxanne Pugh and Gerry Louks; four siblings:  Takoda Hubbard, Jason Witt, Haley Walker, and Joshua Walker; his special aunt and uncle:  Stacy Rascon and Dustin Hopper; uncle:  Christopher (Pauline) Noe and aunt:  Kathlin (Brandon) Kettler; a host of cousins; and an immense amount of friends including his good friend:  Jeff Foster.

Friends may gather from 5:00pm until A Celebration of His Life at 7:00pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Merkle Funeral Service; 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan 48162 (734) 384-5185.   He will lie in state from 12:00pm until funeral services at 1:00pm on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Church of the True Living God; Route 413 Baxter, Kentucky 40806.   Procession will follow to Brock Cemetery in Putney for burial.
